Following the huge success of the personalisation series in 2025, Birkenstock decided to officially launch their customisation platform: Your Blank Canvas in early 2026.
Inviting customers to customise their Birkenstocks with laces, charms and messages, Your Blank Canvas taps into the growing desire to add meaning and individuality to the things we wear.

Custom at its core
To reflect the freedom of the platform, we developed a custom font with a natural feel. The bubble forms are playful and work alongside the masterbrand assets.



Make an icon your own
Birkenstock is iconic. From their heritage and story to the products themselves. It was clear that Your Blank Canvas visual identity needed to balance feeling new with being instantly recognisable as Birkenstock.
We created a series of three mascots for the Arizona, Utti and Boston allowing us to put the product at the heart of the identity, and also reflect the joy and community of the platform.
Paired with the custom font and the invitational Your Blank Canvas name, the identity launches the platform in a glance.
Telling a story
Flexing the mascots and custom font, we created passport stamps for key cities. These are offered as options for customisation, enabling customers to shoutout their hometowns, travel plans or most loved destinations.
