Launching an immersive digital experience for a creative production company.
Following a strategic rebrand from Exell to EXF.studio, the production company needed a website that could do more than showcase their work but to carry the weight of the new brand - communicating their creative ambition in a single, cohesive experience.
SHOW, DON’T TELL
Rather than simply telling people that EXF is different from other production studios, we wanted them to feel it. Instead of relying on conventional site structures and predictable user flows, the website invites users to explore, uncover, and immerse themselves in the world of EXF.
Accessible and intuitive
The orange palette suggests warmth and rhythm, echoing the afternoon sun. Typography is assured and open. Imagery adds a human touch, helping make financial systems feel accessible and intuitive.
CODE AT THE CORE
The bespoke EXF ASCII system is woven throughout the site - shaping both its visual language and interactions.
It tracks reels, scrambles time zones, and is peppered between the work universe where users can freely bounce between projects [or switch to grid view]. It also forms the site’s 3D iconography, including the pigeon that flys away on the contact page.
